I love definitions, I am a logophile: (n) a lover of words, and just love the chaos and order of language. So today I wanted to explore some terms and words that are becoming a regular thing in our household.
Digital: (adj) of, relating to, or utilizing devices constructed or working by the methods or principles of electronics // done with a finger
Nomad: (n) a member of a people who have no fixed residence but move from place to place usually seasonally and within a well-defined territory
Nomadic: (adj) roaming about from place to place aimlessly, frequently, or without a fixed pattern of movement
Are we a type of person who doesn't have anywhere to live and does things with our fingers? Or are we roaming around from place to place aimlessly working on electronics (computers)?
Road Warrior: (n) a person who travels frequently especially on business Is this better?
Work from Home: (idiom) to do one's job in one's house and not in an office building Not quite 'Home"
Abroad: (adv) beyond the boundaries of one's country / in or to a foreign country
Alright, I think its settled, we are Work From Abroad Road Warriors with Digital Nomadic Tendencies... WFARWDNT WeFarWeDoNT - not super catchy!
Lets play with the Thesauraus now! Thanks Miriam Webster.
